About
I pushed my career forward in 1969, selling my first monumental sculpture, a museum show with a woodcut, I have participated in over 60 group shows, regionally and nationally. BFA UNM, MFA University of Washnigton, Seattle, WA, Have placed sculpture throughout the US. Painting has been a lifetime passion. My wife, LaVerne Harper, has painted almost every day of the last thirty four years, showing and selling our paintings.
Artist Statement
The making of my artwork, is to generate an emotional response (not always loud). The energy it creates, the placement of shapes, is to excite the movement of the viewer’s eye.
