About
Born 1957 in Indianpolis, Indiana. I have been painting for about 45 years. I currently reside in Santa Fe, NM and have lived here since 2001.
Artist Statement
I paint both abstract and plein air landscape pictures. I am largely self taught and have had only basic drawing classes back in the 1980’s. I really enjoy the beauty that NM has to offer so I try to get out and do plein air painting throughout the year. I feel that my abstract work is even more fulfilling, as I get to pull from my imagination and really let my spontaneous energy flow. I see my work as an improbable language. It is my hope that the viewer will be challenged to engage in the interplay of colors and shapes.
