Artist Statement

My paintings are a conversation of vibrant colors, marks and gestural weavings. Worlds within worlds are built as a fusion of visual activity. Gestural figurations are shapeshifting through an ever changing and layered landscape. In a dreamlike suspension, an abstract pictorial narrative comes in and out of focus. Forms float, solidify, emerge and disperse in a stillness of motion as thoughts emerge into color and energy of infinite unpredictable possibilities.
