Todd Austin

I am approaching 2d and 3D work as a cathartic procces of sorts. I search to build, personal, emotional, energetic portrails, and figures, both beautiful and perhaps off putting, all at once. As we navigate society, reflecting and receiving from ourselves in the world around us. I wanted to relinquish control to the process of creating, allow the painting to build upon itself naturally without the worry of a final outcome or previoulsy imagined concept. Each is an exploration into who and what we really are to each other, both love and hate, good and bad. we are neither here nor there, yet constantly changing by our influnces around us.
