About
Jan Dorris is a printmaker and sculptor. She has experimented with bronze, cardboard, MDF, Dibond, and paperclay.
She has shown in Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Fort Worth, Santa Fe and Taos.
She has studied sculpture with Evaline Sellors at the Fort Worth Art Museum as well as printmaking at UNM Taos.
Artist Statement
As the years have passed, I have become more abstract and reductive in my art work. Most of my work has little meaning aside from how it looks. After all it is a visual medium. I am most concerned with composition as well as a variety of materials and three dimensional presentation.
