Artist’s Statement IV

I practice painting every day. In the morning, I go to the studio. Painting requires constant practice and growth. It's like reaching for something just out of reach—every day brings a new beginning. Each day is like starting a new race, seeking unfamiliar paths, and remaining a beginner in the search for new ways to express myself through art.

Each of my works is inspired by a poem I've written. I journal every day, capturing the essence of that day, and select four words from the poem to incorporate into the composition based on a grid. The colors are chosen randomly.

I use vinyl emulsion, applying it wet into wet, a traditional technique often used in watercolor. I aim for my work to appear effortless and calm, with only the use of breath and air.
