Artist Statement
We live in a time when almost anything could happen. When I start a painting exciting anticipation fills the air. Opposite worlds collide: known and unknown, chaotic and ordered, quiet and explosive, material and spiritual, beautiful and ugly. I find myself incorporating my reactions to the world around me. Through my work I want to encourage viewers to feel a sense of wonder and awe about the universe.
