Jan Dorris is a mixed media artist.She is an experienced ceramic sculptor and printmaker. Her interest in three dimensional art has led to experimenting with non-conventional materials such as dibond, cardboard and paper clay. Her work has been shown in L.A., Denver, Texas, and New York.
Artist Statement
I am interested in the way that shapes and lines interact. This interaction creates a path for your eye, often creating a new shape. I prefer to make sculpture out of mixed materials used in nontraditional ways, but I am still inspired by how shapes and lines interact.
