Artist Statement
My works are stories of time, change and transformation. They are tales anchored to specific places with visual elements floating on an open ground of potential. The stories provide a myriad of possible narrative connections. The works contain marks, graphs and gestures that could be interpreted as sounds, thoughts or atmospheric refuse. The ground is sometimes sanded plaster or board tinted to mimic old weathered parchment. The stories are non linear and evocative.
