Ethan Strickland

Ethan Strickland is a 27 year old visual artist currently residing in Taos, New Mexico. With no formal training or education in art, he is an entirely self taught painter, mostly working in acrylics. Throughout his years of experimenting with paint and creating art, Ethan has developed a style that may be considered abstract, but not exclusively, and undoubtedly has its very own”flavor.”

Furthermore, Ethan considers painting a”way of life” and is something he will continue to do until the end of his days. On his journey as an artist and within the sacred process of each painting, Ethan finds a special kind of joy, coupled with many lessons and revelations of life, love, and creation. To quote him directly:”If you want to understand creation, particularly the creation that is YOU, then surely you must create…” It’s his wish that through the colors and lines that he intuits in each painting, others might feel inspired to discover the creator within themselves.
